Chopper Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Shoreline
A helicopter flying over a popular coastal shoreline suddenly started spinning out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm trees as onlookers looked on.
Recordings shared online show the chopper starting to spin near Huntington Beach then descending near the border of the coast, where it ends up lodged amidst palm groves and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Local firefighters said five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the road were injured. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
